We have contracted with Sport Systems to handle your on-line entry for the Rotary Club of the South Cotswolds Horseless Team Event in Badminton Park on Sunday, October 5th 2014. This is available at https://www.sportsystems.co.uk/ss/event/BadmintonHorselessTeamEvent

The all terrain cross country run will take you over the world famous Badminton Horse Trials obstacles. You can enter for either of the traditional 5 or 9 mile courses, or do 13 miles.  Walkers will probably prefer to stick with the 5 mile circuit and to go around the obstacles. Learning a lesson from last year, Canicrossers will have a separate start.

You can run as an individual but why not get some friends to join in and enter a team, with the time of the fourth member, being the time for your team.  This makes it an excellent event for friendly inter organisation rivals to take part in and win a trophy.  This year, whether entered as a team member or as an individual the first two Male, Female, Boys, Girls and Canicross runners over the line for each distance, will receive a trophy.  There will be a competition to judge the best team in fancy dress with a trophy for the winners.  A list of the trophies is available on the website.

We have years of experience in meeting your changing expectations so, we you should enjoy that:
  • The event is organised by the Rotary Club of the South Cotswolds
  • e-registration is available
  • Every entrant gets a medal at the finish
  • First and second over the line get an award, even if they entered as a team member
  • Teams winning each category receive a trophy.  Best fancy dress team receives a trophy
  • We provide e-tags, so your times are immediate
  • We offer 5 or 9 or 13 mile courses
  • Volunteers at registration will quickly issue your number, e-tag etc., on arrival
  • Your team result rewards mutual support and teamwork, you can run as an individual
  • The course is well marked, water and First Aid is available
  • The equestrian obstacles have been prepared for runners and are marshalled
  • Radio points around the course recognise that mobile phone coverage is unreliable
