General information

You choose. 20 miles or 20 kms (12.5 miles).

As well as giving you the opportunity to go for a PB on a fast flat 20 mile course, this event may be useful to many who are planning on competing in a spring marathon - it will give you a good indication of how well your training is going and what time you are likely to achieve on the big day. The 20 km option gives runners the opportunity to try a new race length or use it for Half Marathon or Marathon training.

This will be our 3rd year and we are increasing entries form 300 - 400. We will have further 'mobile' toilet facilities at HQ and we have secured more car parking to cope.

This event is a few weeks before Brighton Marathon, Manchester and the Great Welsh and of course well placed for London, Blackpool and Stratford (Shakespeare) on the 26th April.

The 20 mile option is a two-lap flat course in lovely countryside close to the river Severn. The 20 km option takes in one lap of pretty much the same course.

Access to the event HQ is on quiet roads and is only 6 miles from junction 14 of the M5. There is ample (hard standing) parking and the start of both courses are no more than 400m from the event HQ, which has good toilet facilities, changing and a baggage store.

On the 20 mile route there will be 6 water stations giving bottled water - three different locations on the route that you pass twice and then a further one at the end. On the 20km route there will be 3 water stations and one at the end.

Both courses have been officially measured:

20 Km certificate    20 Miles certificate

There will medals and T-shirts for all finishers.

Post race hot drinks and cakes are free to all finishers.
