August Bank Holiday Monday's weather forecast of heavy rain did not deter more than 30 Almosts from travelling to Painswick for this popular and scenic club run.

The coach trip to London to watch the women's Olympic marathon was a great success and the AA flags were spotted on national TV!

After months of intensive training James took on his first IronMan event in Bolton and finished in 14 hours and 5 minutes.

Karen was selected to represent her country at the 100K Anglo Celtic Plate race in Wales where she finished as third member of the Ladies Team England squad in testing conditions.

This multi terrain 10k is proving very popular with runners who are seeking that extra challenge. Conditions were tough with plenty of mud to give runners something to think about. There were notable performances from Allan Green and Miranda Foster who were 1st in their categories. Further results from the Edgehill Half, Pitchcroft 10K, Cheddar Gorge Half and Norton 10K.
