Please tell us about your experiences, results, personal best times achieved, worst nightmare races etc by emailing almostathletes@hotmail.com - if you don't tell us about it, we can't report it!. We can't guarantee that all information supplied will go in as the Echo have full editorial control, but we will do our best.

2) Co-ordinate amongst the other runners for the same leg for recce runs, transport to / from the start  / finish of their leg

Enjoying the sunshine and ideal  running temperatures was Dale Midwinter who romped home first for the club in 31:21, hot on his heels were Gareth Edwards in 31:25 and James Wilkinson in 31:39.  Katie Coleman headed the ladies home and finished first in her category in 33:05. The 2.5mile race was won by Matthew Basnett in 18:36 closely followed by Ben Sluman in 19:02. Club runners also took part in the Crowle 10K, the Berkeley 10K and the Black Death Run.

First home for the club at the wet and windy Milton Keynes marathon was John Bailey in a personal best time of 3.41.55 seconds, some 8 minutes quicker than his previous best. Next over the line was Jon Deighton in 3 hours 51 minutes then Allan Green in 3.55. Conrad Bourne finished in 4 hours 14 minutes and Martyn Fisher, after dealing with cramp, completed the course in 4 hours 39 minutes. Coralie Pearson did well to brave the elements and crossed the line in 5 hours 23 minutes in her 4th marathon.
