There was a great club turnout for Almost Athletes in both the ladies and men at the first Cross Country race of the season at Cotswold Farm Park. Sharon Bullimore was first lady home for the club and Anthony Bailey first man - in 10th position overall.

Several Almosts made their way over to the Forest of Dean for the Autumn Half marathon.  This scenic route proved challenging to say the least.  Nick Spice was first home for the club in 1:37.

The 30 mile JW ultra and relay race is always popular with Almost Athletes and there was a strong turnout for the club. Ingrid Harris put in a superb performance finishing in 3hr 58min taking the first lady place, and the women’s relay team were also first overall.

Sunny skies and a brand new route paid dividends for the Almost Athletes who took part in the Angels 10K road race. Anthony Bailey was 2nd overall, Katie Coleman was 2nd lady and the mens and ladies team prizes were secured.

August Bank Holiday Monday's weather forecast of heavy rain did not deter more than 30 Almosts from travelling to Painswick for this popular and scenic club run.

The coach trip to London to watch the women's Olympic marathon was a great success and the AA flags were spotted on national TV!
