22nd May - 6:45pm for 7:00pm until 26th June (inclusive)

On Road & Off Road: Lower Witcombe

Please Note:The usual off- and on-road groups should be available at Witcombe this week. Bear in mind last week's deep mud when choosing footwear for the off roaders.

ALL runs, both on and off road, from the green opposite the Twelve Bells at Witcombe, 7pm. Parking is limited here so please car share wherever possible, and park sensibly to avoid annoying the local residents. Thank you!

Start of our off road route’s at Lower Witcomebe (near Brockworth), running up to and through Witcombe Woods .

We will run from the green opposite the Twelve Bells Pub (GL3 4SS).

To reach the start from Cheltenham, turn left at The Cross Hands roundabout at Brockworth on the A46, by the Shell garage.

Parking is a bit tight so please car share if possible. Please park by the green and not in the pub. Park considerately so as not to upset any residents.

There will be routes up to Witcombe Woods on the Cotswold Way and, from 22nd May onwards, a road route too.

Drinks in the Twelve Bells afterwards too, optional.

3rd July onwards

Off-Road: The Gardeners Arms at Alderton with a 5.5mile around Dumbleton Hill. , Beckford Rd, Alderton, GL20 8NL

This is a lovely country pub who are keen to welcome us. There is a garden and bar food available. The car park is a bit tight, but you can park in the village, so please be respectful to villagers and car share where you can.

*Wednesday night - Club run*

+ Where? Varies throughout the year so keep an eye on Facebook or the website.
+ What time? 6:45-8pm
+ Distance covered? Depends on the group, but between 5 and 9km
+ What goes on? Starts at 6:45pm with a warm up and the run starts at 7pm. We'll then sort into groups of different paces and go for a run/jog/walk. Each group is led by a LiRF (see below). Simple!

The groups all finish back in the same place for a cool down. Hi-viz and head torches are encouraged, and we use pedestrian crossings where available.

We then usually finish with a social drink in a local pub for those that would like to join.
