Willicott conquers the Cotswold Way Century

Mark Willicott from Almost Athletes tackled the Cotswold Way Century, a 102 mile ultra race starting in Chipping Camden, following the hilly and picturesque Cotswolds Way, ending at the Bath Abbey, Bath. Mark completed the race 21st out of 129 athletes in a time of 25 hours, 41 minutes. (SEE ATTACHED IMAGE)

In Berlin, Matt Polson ran his first marathon achieving a time of 4:10, Kev George achieved his personal best of 3:31.

Parkrun tourists saw Catherine Daly take part in the Stellenbosch parkrun, Cape Town, James Clay and Rachel Fargher at Vejen parkrun, Denmark, and David Chittock the Bideford parkrun, North Devon, with David achieving his personal best of 21.50.

Paul Haig completed the Top Run II marathon, along the River Thames, then joined Kathy Haig to complete the Phoenix Night Marathon. Kathy completed her 12th Marathon for 2017, and Paul is running towards achieving 52 marathons for 52 weeks certificate for 2017. (SEE ATTACHED IMAGE)

At Bury, the offroad 10k race with the moto: I WILL IF YOU WILL (IWIYW) was completed by Martyn Fisher in 57.14.

In Lagos, Portugal, Helen Fursman and Glenda Gill completed the Lagos Aquathlon, with Helen coming 2nd in the open category. (SEE ATTACHED IMAGE)

The Almost Athletes were out on a Grand scale at the Apperley Quarter Marathon in which Gemma Hargraves was 1st Lady at 41.47, Patricia Peever 47.04, Jeanette Gullick 49:00, Prashanth Sripathi 41.21, James Eastwood 42.28, and Richard Birch 42.40. (SEE ATTACHED IMAGE)

In Birmingham, Oliver Bell and Kevin Dendy took part in the 100 mile closed road Velo Cycle.

At Nottingham Robinhood race, Karla Cleverley completed the Half Marathon and Allan Green the Full Marathon in 4.06.
