A Baker's Dozen at Dursley

14 Feb, 2012

The weather was relatively mild for this year's Dursley Dozen, but the lack of sun meant that ground conditions were hard with some very slippery sections, particularly on the downhill sections, but a reasonable amount of mud was encountered throughout the second half of the course. First to cross the line out of the 13 Almosts who took part was Chris Midgely in 1.36.47 followed by Matthew Hampton in 1.41.30, Nick Spice in 1.47.38, Matt Farrer in 1.47.58 and Evan Stanley in 1.49.08. First lady for the club was Karen Galpin 1.53.58 and the following members completed the challenging course successfully: Thom Stephens 1.55.10, Ian Coggin 1.55.52, Hester Davis 2.01.32, Michelle Galloway 2.17.56, Rebekah Stephens 2.19.05, John Galpin 2.29.48, Barry Walker 2.29.54.
