Our Club AGM

 

This year’s AGM will be on 15 May at Charlton Kings Club, starting promptly at 7pm. All members are welcome.

Our normal Wednesday evening club run is cancelled for that evening.

Charlton Kings Club can accommodate a maximum of 100 of us one the evening.  Whilst everyone is welcome to just show up, and prior AGM attendance suggests a limit of 100 should not be a problem, if you intend going and could please email Kevin at almostathletes@hotmail.com, that will help us try to estimate the total number.  Thank you.

 

We pride ourselves on being a friendly, inclusive and supportive club that can help and encourage you to get the most out of your running.  Whether your interest is running for fun, getting fit, or training for anything from a 5K race to a marathon or even an ultra, we can help you achieve your aims.

Almost Athletes has been welcoming adult runners of all abilities and ages since 1998.  We are a fully certified accredited member of England Athletics (EA) organised in line with their EA Club Standards. We have fully qualified EA run leaders in both Leaders in Running Fitness (LiRF) and Coach in Running Fitness (CiRF) to help all runners on our social runs and guided expert training sessions. We also have a lively social calendar. With a current membership of about 400 people, Almost Athletes really is Cheltenham’s largest and friendliest running club.  We welcome prospective members joining us for a trial run on one of our evening sessions.
